Movember wrap up
Greg Gairns, Holland College Student Union Events and Activity Coordinator, says the Movember team of staff and students raised about $500 for the cause. Great job, guys! We’re going to post the full roster of members on our Facebook page once Greg’s received them all; but in the meantime, here’s a treat…the winners of our special prizes.
An expert panel of judges convened at popular Halifax watering hole, Your Father’s Moustache, to scrutinize the photos and determine who should receive these prestigious awards.
Following much consultation and deliberation, they narrowed all the ‘stashes into the four main categories. Once in these categories, they were judged on a strict criteria. Due to the intense competition, draws were conducted to select winners in each category.
